Who we are
This website, www.truemomentstravel.com, is run by True Moments Travel, based in Rome, Italy ("we"). You can contact us about your data through the enquiry form on the website, or by WhatsApp or phone using the details in the contact section.
What we collect
When you use the enquiry form we collect what you type into it: your first name, last name (optional), email address, phone number (optional), where and when you would like to travel, and anything you tell us about your trip. If you contact us by WhatsApp or phone, we keep that conversation.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to plan and manage your trip. This is needed to take steps at your request before a booking and, once you book, to carry it out. We will only send you marketing if you agree to it.
Who sees it
- Our website and forms provider, Wix, which stores form entries for us. Wix may process data outside the European Union under appropriate safeguards.
- Hotels, guides, drivers and other suppliers, but only the details they need to arrange your trip, and only once you decide to go ahead.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and your trip, and for as long as the law requires us to keep booking and accounting records.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, object to its use, receive a copy of it, or withdraw consent you have given. Contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies and third parties
This site does not run advertising or analytics trackers. When you use the enquiry form, your browser stores a small technical identifier so the form can work. The pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google when a page loads.
